BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. One powerful key for every believer is to constantly engage in self-examination or regular check-up. *Yes, as you progress in the Christian journey, it is better to do a self-examination than to engage in self-condemnation.* Apostle Paul unveiled this revelation to the Church in Corinth in our focal text. A Church as a corporate body should engage in this examination too.
To examine yourself as used in our focal text means to test, scrutinize, prove or discipline one’s self. You must prove yourself whether you are living in line with the Christian faith. You must examine your belief systems whether they align with the finished works of Christ. Scrutinize yourself whether your attitudes, thinking patterns and behaviour are in line with the total counsel of God and His word. You must examine yourself to know yourself in the faith as long as Christ dwells within you.
The Message Translation explains further: Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it. Refuse to be contaminated by the pressures and pleasures of this world. *Keep standing strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. For it is the only surest way for a glorious successful life.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen !

PRAYER
Father, I thank You for the efficacy of Your infallible word to put me on track. I graciously examine myself and stand strong in the Faith. I receive supernatural help in any area that I don’t measure up in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
