THE LORD, YOUR ALL-ROUND HELPER
Psalm 28 vs.

THE Bible says “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (Prov 13:12 MSG). In other words, desires or dreams fulfilled at last brings joy and excitement. Almost everyone has got dreams, visions and plans for the now and the future. And as part of making it in life requires having a strong desire and passion to succeed. *Nevertheless, every one needs divine help in order to fully achieve good success*. Divine help is what distinguishes a life of blessings from a life of struggles.
Believe it or not, any success or greatness that’s worthy of admiration mostly has the force of supernatural help behind it. By your natural ability, you can achieve so little but relying on divine help you can have all He wants you to achieve. Humanly, you have to do all that you are supposed to do, nevertheless it won’t be enough without God’s help. A time or situation will come that your knowledge, understanding, wisdom or degree will have a limit; your intellectual capacity will come to a standstill.
Cherished one, it’s good to labour but except God’s help is unleashed on your labour, your huge salary will still not be able to give you a desired future. Our opening text gives us the picture of someone helped by God. The world “help” (“azar” in the Hebrews) means “support”. *Allow God to support you because He is your all-round Helper. He can help you physically, spiritually, financially, materially etc*. No man can do that. To receive divine help you must trust Him with your heart and see Him as your strength and shield. And your heart will rejoice greatly because God is a helper to all who trust in Him and will never disappoint them. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen!
PRAYER
My Lord and Father, thank You for Your precious word which is able to build me up, and give me inheritance among the saints. I humble myself today to receive great help in all aspects of my life. For You are my present help in time of need. Since you are my help, I will not be moved nor perturbed by challenges of life. For with You, I am always more than a conqueror in Jesus Name. Amen!
