Our focused scripture unveils that to yield to the devil is your own choice. He said YOU should not give place or opportunity to the devil. Meaning, it is only the room or place you give him that he takes advantage of. How do you sometimes give place to him? You do through your words, actions or deeds and thoughts. For instance, If you always speak negative words, you are inviting him to operate in your life. If you harbour bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, strife, anger in your heart, then the environment becomes conducive for him.

We have all used our will for ‘bad stuffs’ in one way or the other but glory to God, Grace has come to help us. Now the old will of the flesh and carnality shouldn’t control your choices anymore. People have followed their will selfishly and have regretted. But you can use your will which is influenced by God’s word to enjoy good success. God gave it to you for your benefit, not destruction. It’s not too late to turn away from a destructive road.

Cherished one, God has given us more than enough power to resist the devil in our words, thoughts and actions (James 4:7; 1Pet 5:8,9). If your life is surrounded by negative words and thoughts, you can fight against it with the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God (Eph 6:17). Because your will determines your choice for success or failure, life or death. (Isaiah 1:19). Use it to your advantage by yielding it totally to God. Use your will wisely to glorify God. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Gracious Father , thank You for Your unfeigned love revealed in your Word today. Thank you for showing me the victorious life. I give no room or place for anything ungodly. I humble my will under Your higher will to experience greater fulfillment in Jesus’ Name.
