TOTAL DEPENDENCE ON GOD’S PROVISIONS
Matthew 6 vs.
25.¶ Therefore I say to you, do not worry your about life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and body more than clothing?~|NKJV|
TO SAY God is not concerned about our earthly daily life is a big lie. He is very much concerned about every detail of our lives and how we run things down here on earth. That’s why Jesus talked about food, drink, clothing, shelter, money, etc during His earthly assignment. He unveiled to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Just that we shouldn’t pride earthly things above spiritual things. Whatever caught the attention of Jesus here on earth still depicts the heart of the Father. Because Jesus is the only one who unveils to us the Father’s heart as He stands as the express of Him (Hebrews 1:3).
On His sermon on the mountain,Jesus used that moment to teach about the basic necessities of life. Thus, he saw that one factor that causes almost all mankind to worry are the necessities of life such as food, water, shelter, money, material things etc. And He showed us how to get these things by following kingdom principles not by worrying. In the kingdom we get things by faith, not worries. Jesus says you are worth more than any of these necessities. So you place a demand on His Kingdom and righteousness first and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Hallelujah!
Jesus also said “O you of little faith”. (Mat 6:30). This implies people who always worry about these things are suffering from the “little faith syndrome”. But the New Creation should walk in great faith with a renewed mind concerning the necessities of life. You shouldn’t fret and be anxious as if God cannot make your life better than you could. Jesus is communicating a spiritual reality here; He is telling us to totally depend on the Father for the supply of all things (Phil 4:19).
Cherished one, your life is worth more than anything on this earth; you are much better than fowls of the air, lilies of the field. Do not allow the worries of this life to rob your of your kingdom inheritance. Worrying cannot add anything significant to your life. You must learn by faith to depend on God and his provisions no matter the challenges.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Thank You Wealthy Father for Your superabundant provisions You lavish on my life. As I have sought Your Kingdom and righteousness first, I stand the position to receive and enjoy to the fullest all that pertain to life and godliness in Jesus Name. Amen!_*Enjoy A Flourishing Thursday!*
