Genesis 5 vs
28. ¶Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, and had a son:29. And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD has cursed.~|NKJV|

THE SCRIPTURE above dates back to the early ages after the fall of man. As mankind increased in number, sin also increased. However, as they married and gave birth, one man named Lamech did the extraordinary. He made a prophetic declaration on his son called Noah, he said Noah will comfort his generation despite the ground cursed by God. He saw in the midst of a “cursed ground” that comfort is achievable through his son. He had a prophetic insight into his son’s future. Hallelujah!

It was later written in Genesis 6:8 that _”BUT Noah found favour in the sight of God”, even when sin multiplied and righteousness faded._Beloved, was it for nothing that Noah found favour with God? Aside he being a righteous man, and blameless; there was a prophetic decree on his life that connected him to the favour of God.* And the favour of God kept him and his family from destruction (Gen 8:18). Moreover, another part of the prophecy was fulfilled after the flood when he offered sacrifice unto God. Check our the results, _”And the LORD smelled a soothing aroma; then the LORD said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake…”(Gen 8:21)._ The faithful acts of Noah made God reversed the curse on the ground.

Cherished one, if this old covenant man knew this, then you in the New covenant should know much better. You are the prophet of your life and generation, prophesy by speaking words of power and encouragement into your life. Your declarations based on God’s word carry so much power that when released it will can change things in the realms of the spirit to affect the natural. Beloved, start prophesying into your life, family, children, business, ministry, nation etc.  Don’t wait for a prophetic word from a prophet before you start prophesying. Initiate yours first.  As you do so, you are enforcing God’s power and wisdom in your life. And you will see the manifestations. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

In the Name of Jesus, I speak and prophesy greatness and comfort into every sphere of my life. I am born to bring comfort, hope and life to my generation. I shall never be hidden because I am shinning brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. Hallelujah!
