LIVING A SELFLESS LIFE

Matthew 25 vs.
>>40. ¶And the king will answer them, ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’-[ NET]<<||

JESUS said His brothers and sisters are those who do the will of God (Mark 3:35). Henceforth, our focus scripture is drawing attention to the brethren in Christ who may face diverse challenges in this life. Thus, some may be without cloths, hungry, thirsty, sick, strangers or imprisoned as a result of diverse persecutions. Jesus admonished that those who are capable-thus those who have it to the full, who have enough to drink, cloths to wear, healthy, not imprisoned to provide the needs of those affected in one way or the other.

Yes, the able ones are to take care of those who are not by providing their physical, spiritual, financial, material support etc. Cherished one, this implies that most of us need to do well in these aspects in order to provide support for those in need. Because the sick cannot help the sick; the naked cannot cloth the naked; the hungry cannot feed the hungry. This is why you have to put yourself in the best position of God’s word to be prosperous by the grace and riches of His glory. Because, Jesus expects us to carry one another’s burden.

He finally unveils the divine intention in our actions towards the least of the brethren. He says as long as we are doing it for them, we are also doing it for Him, the King of kings. Hallelujah! Are you paying someone’s hospital bills? or school fees? feeding someone? visiting the orphanages or the borstal homes? Jesus says look beyond them because you are actually doing it for Him and this is how you can expect greater rewards from Jesus, not them. Beloved, your kind words and good deeds go beyond the natural realm; it reaches the heart realm of the King of kings on His throne. And He will reward you greatly for all you do for the brethren. Receive the grace to live a selfless life to impact others especially to those in the household of faith. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

PRAYER
Kind and Lovely Father, thank You for the opportunity given me to impact lives in the kingdom. I am blessed to know that my kind words and good deeds for the brethren also reaches Your throne of glory. I refuse to be selfish but I receive the grace to be selfless to fulfill the course of Christ in the lives of the brethren in need. Thank You for accepting and blessing my offering of help to others in Jesus Name. Amen !

Enjoy A Glorious Thursday !
