GOD IS ‘PRACTICAL’
Hebrews 1 vs
1,2.¶ God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2.Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; .~[KJV]
Many a time, people criticise Christianity and tag it as ‘too spiritual’. In the eyes of the world or unbelievers,being too spiritual means that ‘things are not real or practical’. Thus, you can’t see its manifestation in the physical. This kind of criticism extends to the Bible. But beloved, it is vital for you to know that Christianity and the Bible is real and practical. Christianity is not a school of thought. God has not brought another ideology and tried to give it a name. God is not a theory.
God is ‘practical’. He spoke to our fathers and He still speaks and does many great miracles. For that matter God is practical, not just only spiritual. The books in the Bible almost confirm the same things. Also God used different writers from different places inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Tim 3:16). Note that, the people in the Bible all existed on earth, not on mars or plato. They were people with spirits, souls and body as you and I. It’s only ‘time’ that makes the difference.
Many folks see it as though those people in the Bible days were from different planet and of different composition. It’s no wonder that someone can tell you ”lets get real for now, don’t talk from the Bible, it’s spiritual”. But as a born again believer if Christianity will become lively and enjoyable to you,then you must understand this revelation. God is so practical and He chose men like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Nation Israelite, Jesus, the Apostles etc, to prove it to the world. Now is our time.
This truth will bring God more alive in your Christian life. *Stop seeing God in terms of theories and believe He is so real and practical to you.* Whatever He says is as real as Himself. God is not far from you; He is so near,even in you now. He is so ‘practical’. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
Thank you Father for this revelation. You are not a theory or school of thought. You are my God. You are real and practical in my spirit, soul and body. Greater is He that is in me. Christ in me, the hope of glory. I am enjoying the reality of God in my life today in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
