FEAR NO EVIL FOR HE IS WITH YOU
Psalm 23 vs

IN THE JOURNEY of life, as God leads you in the rights paths, you may face some rough roads with “ridges, valleys, rocks, hard places, water logged areas” etc. Yes, Children of God can be hated, backbited, betrayed, rejected, insulted, threatened by different people and situations. Since we are still in the world (with wicked people, forces of darkness), and not of it, the world will keep hating us, as they hated Jesus (John 15:19). However, we are told not to fear any evil, because God is with us. Note that, the shepherd is aware of all those “valleys and shadows”, and you will pass through all successfully if you acknowledge that He is with you always.
There are times you face certain challenges as individual and it seems all is lost, but these are not powerful compared to the Word of God. Focus on the presence of the Shepherd and keep walking with Him in faith and obedience. Keep Him in heart and mind, refuse to shift focus. Many people easily shift their focus from the Shepherd in times of challenges. This rather worsens situations. *The Shepherd is a caring lover and responsible Father. That’s why He says He won’t leave you as an orphan, He will be with you ( John 14:18). As a New Covenant believer, God is with you by His Spirit. And what makes it more enjoying is that He is also in you ( John 14:17). Hallelujah!
Cherished one, remember He has said “He will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). He sticks closer than a brother at all times (Prv 18:24b). So you can boldly say ” I fear no evil”. You have His rod and staff to comfort you. His Word serves as a rod which directs, corrects and puts you on track. His staff is what you lean on for support. Let this consciousness flood your heart and mind that God is with you and you will not fear any evil. Because if He is with you, goodness and mercy are designed to follow you all your lifetime. Relax, fear no shadow of death or evil, for His presence envelopes your spirit, soul and body with power, faith and boldness. The shepherd knows the destination. So keep walking with Him, friend. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
Yes, even if there is a valley of shadow of death, I shall walk through it by the presence of the Lord with me. No challenge can bring me down or scare me from reaching my destination. Because He is with me I shall never be moved. His rod and staff comfort me. He knows my end from the beginning. My destiny is secured in my Shepherd, so I refuse to fear any evil. For I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah !
