ENJOY GRACE AND PEACE

APOSTLE Paul, especially in his epistles, mostly introduced his letters by saying ”grace and peace”. That was his salutation to the saints of God. Why this salutation? Because Christianity among other things rests on the grace and peace of God revealed through Christ Jesus. Therefore, it is always expedient to recall and live in the reality of what Christ has delivered to you.Ephesians 2:8,9 states that “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”.
Friend, all that pertains to your salvation, health, prosperity, righteousness are the works of grace, because you didn’t deserve it by your own works. Christianity also anchors on the peace of God. Prophet Isaiah saw by the Spirit that one Name of the Messiah would be the “Prince of Peace” (Isa 9:6). Thus, Christ satisfied the wrath of God once and for all. Romans 5:1 enjoins “… we have peace with God through our Lord Christ Jesus”. God is not angry with you again. Yes ! You can stand before God without fear, guilt or condemnation. Hallelujah!
Cherished one, grace exerts the favour, joy, pleasantness, and righteousness of God on man. Also, peace is used in the Hebrew as “Shalom” encompasses completeness of all blessings such as wealth, health, salvation, prosperity, soundness etc that come from God through Christ Jesus. This salutation is worth emulating. Receive abundance of grace and peace from God through Jesus in your coming in and going out today. Live in the grace and peace all your days. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. Amen!
PRAYER
Father of grace and peace, I thank You for lavishing my entire life with Your grace and peace. Even in the midst of a confused world, I am distinguished by grace, and comforted by Your peace. Therefore, my life is full of Your glorious essence. I enjoy multiplied grace and peace through the knowledge of my Lord in the Name of Jesus. Amen !
