ENFORCE YOUR VICTORY IN CHRIST AT ALL TIMES
Hebrews 11 vs
»»3.¶Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD of GOD, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.-[KJV] «««« ||
THE scriptures make it clearly evident that “Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, Satan” (1 John 3:8). Meaning there are works that are done by the devil and his cohorts of darkness. Sin is the work of the devil which extends to include all sort of bad effects such as death, sickness, vices, failure, poverty, curses, and the likes. However, the GOOD NEWS is that sin and its influence has been destroyed by the death of Jesus Christ ( Romans 6:6). Sin has no power over those who are in Christ anymore (Rom 6:14). Hallelujah!
The devil and sin are under your rule now because Jesus rendered them powerless over you. God says you can resist him and he would run away in fear and trembling (James 4:7). Yes, you have dominance over him and all his works. Since we are in the world, he still remains our great and wicked enemy. And the Bible never said “the devil has or will stop his wicked works and ways”. So Apostle Peter cautioned that he roams about to seek whom he may devour” (1Pet 5:8). Meaning he is still at work with his cohorts. However, he has no power over the New Creation in Christ. Besides, even if he strikes, the righteous has the power to destroy his works. So Jesus told us to cast him, to resist him, not to give him any opportunity (Mark 16:17; Eph 4:27).
Cherished one, you are mandated to destroy his plots in case you see anything contrary to divine will by using the principle of God’s word in prayer and in Jesus Name. Our opening scripture makes us understand that the universe you see today was framed by the WORD of GOD. And that same word declares that the devil is defeated; also you are more than a conqueror. Therefore, you must enforce the devil’s defeat and enjoy the victory Christ gave you. To enforce means to lay much emphasize or to ply hard. Thus, firmly lay hold on the victory and run with it. Stand on God’s infallible word and take what rightfully belongs to you. Enforce your continuous victory over the works of the devil. No matter what he does, put him where he belongs-at your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
Thanks be to You Glorious Father Who always causes me to triumph in Christ Jesus. I am seated together with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. I have power over all the plots and power of the enemy. Jesus conquered the devil, so I triumph in the victory of Christ forever in the Name of Jesus. Amen !
Enjoy A Triumphant Friday !
