INVIGORATED BY THE SPIRIT WITHIN
Romans 8 vs
>>>11.¶But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.~[KJV]<<¶¶
THE Lord Jesus Christ unveiled the ministry of the Holy Spirit to His disciples whiles on earth. It was very expedient to Him because He knew how difficult it would be in serving God without the empowerment of the Spirit. He said to them “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12,13). So Apostle Paul caught a glorious glimpse of what the Holy Spirit could do for the New Creation.
One is His ability to change you inside out; from deep within your inner man to renewing your mind and also mortifying your mortal body. This is seen in our opening text; if truly the Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, the same Spirit has the ability or power to quicken your mortal bodies. To “quicken” in our opening text is from the Greek word ” zōopoieō” meaning “to produce live, or to cause to live”.Therefore to “quicken” is the same as to invigorate which implies”to impart vigor, strength, or vitality”.
Cherished one, the Spirit is in you to invigorate you; Yes, to vitalize your mortal body against the lust of the flesh, and deceitfulness of riches; and against sicknesses and diseases. He makes sure that any insatiable sinful desire of the flesh is quenched as you keep fellowshipping with Him. He quenches the pleasures of sin and brings to life the desires of God in you. Beloved, the Spirit of God in you is the power, ability and strength of God to successful enjoy life here. He is in you to help your overcome all your weaknesses by relying on His strength. Right now just yield to His ministry and keep fellowshipping with Him for an invigorated life. The grace of our Lord Jesus be multiplied unto you always.
PRAYER
Thank You Glorious Father for Your Sweet Holy Spirit who is able to quicken, invigorate and vitalize my mortal body against anything ungodly. By Him I am strengthened and set for excellence and exploits in Jesus Name. Amen !
