ACCORDING TO THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE
Ephesians 1 vs
7.¶In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.-| NKJV |
THE whole Christian life is built and rests in Jesus Christ. In Him is life [John 1:4]. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). Without Him there is no salvation and no Christianity (Acts 4:12). He is the author and finisher of our faith. And one of the realities established in the New Creation is “redemption through His blood”. *Redemption means being bought back to the original state, perfectly adorned as the buyer intended.* It is within this redemption that your sins are forgiven; so then Christ’s blood was the redemption price paid down for your salvation; and this was according to the riches of his grace.
The blood of Jesus speaks better things than that of Abel [Heb 12:24]. It has the power to redeem every sinner in this world. There is no sin that could not be redeemed by the blood. The blood speaks total forgiveness of sins, unlike Abel’s blood that spoke revenge. His blood speaks sanctification, health, forgiveness etc. “And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). By grace your sins have been forgiven through faith.
Cherished one, just put faith into the provisions of grace and enjoy them. Paul furthered that “we have forgiveness according to the riches of His Grace” (not because we confessed all our sins one by one). There are riches in the grace of the Lord Jesus, incomparable, unlimited, undeserved, unearned by our works. It is so rich that it’s greater than any sin you can ever commit on earth. His grace is rich and super-abundant in benevolence. Take advantage of the grace and live right for Him. For grace empowers you to live right for God, not worse (Titus 2:11). The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
It is by the grace of God that I am who I am today. His grace lavished on me was not in vain. I labour by the grace given me. I walk according to the riches of His grace that has redeemed and forgiven me all my sins. Thank You Lord Jesus. I am free forevermore. Hallelujah !
