THE only antidote to all forms of laziness whether physical, spiritual, mental or financial is diligence. *It is your responsibility to be responsible; you don’t actually need an overseer to be responsible.* It is written of the ant that it has not ruler, overseer or chief but provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. And the lazy person is admonished to consider the wise ways of the ant (Proverbs 6:6-8). Have you desired something so strong and still didn’t get it? Then it means you were just wishing; because wishers do not have any workable action plan towards their desires or goals.

However, the diligent person has a workable action plan towards achieving his desires. Not amount of wishing can make you a success giant in life. All the great men and women you hear of were never just wishers, they were workers in diligence. A diligent person is one who works excellently with the acquired knowledge, skills, discretion and produce results crowned in wisdom. Put in much effort and pursue your heart desires, even though you may start small or with a little. However, your desires will be satisfied. Yes, your dreams can be actualized through diligence.

Diligence should not only be seen in your job or business, but in your spiritual life as well. Be diligent spiritually, mentally, financially and socially. Diligence also involves being consistent and excellence at what you are called to do. Cherished one, stop wishing in your spiritual life, ministry, academics, marriage, business and get to work. _There is a saying that nothing works until someone works it. So start working now, get out from that box and start exploding. Wishers are not history makers; they are like story tellers who just look funny at the end. Beloved, defy every means of laziness and dishonesty and walk in diligence. Yes, refuse to be part of the odds and sods; be distinct and pursue unrelenting diligence. For God Himself rewards diligence with success. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
The Ever-Diligent Father, I thank You for the spirit of diligence. You have not given me the spirit of fear; more so I have received not the spirit of indolence. I denounce every form of laziness that is anti progress of my glorious destiny in Christ. The work of my hands and minds are blessed as I engage in unrelenting and gracious diligence in Jesus Name. Amen!
