KEEP YOURSELF FROM TROUBLES
Proverbs 21 vs
»»23.¶Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.-[KJV]«« ||
A CAREFUL reading, meditation and study of the opening text reveals a very profound principle in life. As simple as it sounds, it carries with it volumes of realities. “Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles”. Disciplining your mouth and tongue is a major determinant to keep or guard your soul from troubles. To “keep” here also means to guard, protect or to take charge. Thus, as God’s child, you can take charge of your life with your tongue. And failure to do so will allow more troubles in your life. Your mouth will speak the language of your tongue. Most people’s tongue are accustomed to certain kind of “languages” that’s why their mouth can’t resist saying them.
However, it is God’s desire for you to keep your soul from troubles, and not to invite them. Many people including Pastors, Preachers, have died when they were not supposed to die all because of their tongues. Many have been jailed because of the wrong use of their tongue. More so, some are adding more salt to injury by consistently speaking the wrong things. Wrong confessions lead to wrong living; it gives room for darkness to operate at a free zone in your life. However, as a New Creation, you are designed to speak right, not any how or anything. Therefore, you must keep or guard your tongue by always learning to respond to situations with the active, vibrant transformative word of God.
Cherished one, refuse to respond by your senses or feelings. Be a word addict and speak in line with it.But remember, you can’t just say anything any how and get great results. Your confessions should be based on God’s word. Thus, what Christ accomplished for you. And you must declare it from the very depth of your heart; believing what you’re saying. Your faith confessions should correspond to your believing heart. Yea, it’s true God keeps His children from troubles but we also have a part to play. In other words, we are not to invite troubles through the wrong use of the tongue.This responsibility lies on you to keep, guard, protect your life from troubles by speaking right. Talk right. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
Life and death are in the power of my tongue. But I have made a choice to speak only life. I speak in consent with the finished works of Jesus Christ. I am blessed, anointed, empowered, prosperous and healthy. I reverse any trouble I have brought into my life by reason of my tongue. I rightly use my mouth and tongue to keep and guard myself from troubles in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !_
