THE Christian is gloriously adorned by God with these armour to always stand out from the crowd. In addition to using the shield of faith, the believer is admonished to retain or sustain the helmet of salvation. It is vital to note that the Apostle is speaking to those who are already saved and is therefore not speaking here about attaining salvation. The helmet is a piece of armour for the head. It protected the head which is always a major target in battle. As a born again Christian, the salvation you have obtained from the Saviour is your great weapon of security and protection.

Yes, salvation is the foundation of the righteous (Prov 10:25). And remember, Satan seeks to destroy or attack your salvation than he would for anything in your life. “For look! The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string, That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart. If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do” (Psalm 11:2,3). But thanks be to God, your salvation is fully secured in a Person not in something corruptible or perishable. Most definitely, your salvation is secured in Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Your salvation is not on probation or shaky foundation.

Jesus Christ says “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by NO MEANS CAST out” (John 6:37). He fully assures us again “And I give them eternal life, and they shall NEVER PERISH; neither shall anyone SNATCH them out of My hand (John 10:28)._Hallelujah ! ! Never walk in doubt of your salvation but rather in assurance and hope of your salvation in Christ (1 Thess 5:8). Walk boldly with your chest out and shoulder on high that you are retaining the helmet of salvation, which your full assurance and hope of your salvation in Christ, the Saviour. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

I DECLARE

I have the full assurance and hope of salvation. I sustain and retain the helmet of salvation every moment. My salvation is fully secured in Jesus, so I am not afraid of the attacks of the enemy of my soul. Nothing shall separate from this love in Jesus Name. Amen !
