24/7 DOXA Content, 18th February-YOU ARE NOT WASTING TIME

THE carnal men do not understand the things of the Spirit, so when they see us do the things we do, they mock us and think we are wasting time. When we go to church in the various services, mornings and evenings, organizing crusades, they think we are wasting our time. But let them know that when we sing, we are not wasting our energy; when we give tithes and offerings, we are not wasting our money. When we pray, we are not wasting our voices. When we read and study the holy scriptures, we are not wasting our minds. *When we walk in integrity, we are honouring the Lord with our lives.* Yes, we are born of the Spirit so we go His direction (John 3:6-8).

*So much happens when we do the things we do in faith and commitment to the Lord. We are building up our ourselves, strengthened in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). When we pray we are energised because we have sweet fellowship with the Father of grace (2 Cor 14:2). When we give, our finances are secured and we learn how to conquer greed and selfishness. When we go out to win souls, we are saving many from the kingdom of the devil (Colossians 1:13)* When we attend fellowships, we receive the anointing and refreshment of our spirit, soul and body by the power of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 10:25). They think we are brainwashed. No! We are rather washed and cleansed by the Word (Eph 5:26).

Cherished one, refuse to pay attention to those who are caught in the web of the devil and keep mocking you as a born again Christian. Don’t let their mockery discourage you; let it rather encourage you to love God more and pray for them. Our focused text says Peter refused to forsake Jesus because He saw Him as the only source of the words of eternal life. And enjoying these words from the Master, you are not wasting time. Because from the words of Jesus, those hungry are fed forever; and those thirsty shall never thirst (John 6:35; 4:14). You are maximising your time with the Lord, not wasting it. You are at the best side. Rejoice forevermore. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
_Ever-Faithful Father, l thank You for the benefit i receive fr serving You. Serving You is a great privilege. Serving is an honour to my life. I choose to serve You with gladness of heart. Because with You, I am maximising my time, not wasting it. Your love has taken over me and I love you forever in Jesus Name! Amen!_
