AS we prepare to enter the year 2018, it’s very expedient you take guard of your spiritual journey with God on a daily basis. And you can’t successfully face the new year without receiving a daily empowerment through God’s word. Put yourself on a constant diet from God’s word. Yes, it is your duty to allow the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom by having the readiness to learn and be taught by it all the time. *It is within the word of Christ that His principles and character are revealed.*

To receive and live the word of Christ, you must have a strong and insatiable desire for it. David said _”As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long (desire) for you, O God! ( Psalm 42:1)._ Through desire a dream is birthed but it comes to reality by constant pursuit in faith, love and perseverance. This pursuit is realised in seemingly daily acts such as studying your Bible and applying the principles. This will open up your spirit to receive God’s transformative word. Because, it’s God’s word that forms the stable basis of all that you are, have and can become. Without, the word of God in your life, Satan will always have easy unblocked access to your life. And remember, he is a liar, wicked, thief, killer and destroyer. Ephesians 4 :27 says _”do not give place or opportunity to the devil”._

The word of Christ has all the necessary power or missile to stop the devil and all his operations against you. Beloved, make a conscious effort to receive the word, character, principles of Christ, into your spirit by studying, meditating, confessing and acting on it daily (Joshua 1:8). *The Holy Spirit will give you revelations which will genuinely impact your life and make you have good success.* For the word of God has inherent power to make you become what it talks about. At the long run, the word of Christ will bring you total transformation. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
I choose to let the word of Christ have a full dwelling in me. I open up my heart to receive God’s word. For the word of grace is able to build me up and give me inheritance. My life is set on a glorious course as I constantly feed on the word of God. It’ll put me on top of all life’s challenges in the coming year. Yes, it will make me more than a conqueror in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !
