24/7 DOXA Content, 5th June-SOUNDNESS OF MIND

A glorious life cannot be achieved in a state of chaos, confusion, conflict and agitation. A confused mind is always a wavering person. Such folks cannot make strong and effective decision to fulfill their assignment. The Bible says after your spirit man is born again, you’ll need a constant renewal of your mind (Romans 12:2). This is to help you program your mind for success.Therefore, our opening text says God has given us the spirit of sound mind. A sound mind is one which is in a state of glorious tranquility. It also means soundness in frame of mind. Thus, wholeness in thinking where your mind is enveloped in healthiness of attitude, sanity, sensibility and controlled reasonableness.

It is salient to know that God doesn’t make dull minds. He makes sound minds. And remember, Christianity is not sycophancy but a place where minds are enlightened by the glorious revelations in Christ. Therefore, you must accept the truth that God has given you sound mind in order for you to manifest attitude of healthy sound thinking and reasoning. You don’t just allow any thoughts to flood your thinking. No, allow God’s word to filter and program and train your mind to the extent that it will reject unwholesome thinking but embraces productive, healthy, creative and helpful thinking. We are admonished to express our anointed minds by engaging in thinking whatever is pure, true, honorable, just, lovely, good report, virtue and praiseworthy ( Philippians 4:8).

Cherished one, the Holy scriptures unveil that God keeps you in perfect peace when you totally trust Him and your mind is stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). Let your mind stay in God’s word and do as it says. Reject any worldly or secular thoughts that have entangled your thinking. For if you entertain wrong thoughts, you’ll live a “wrong a life”. Desire to pursue and manifest soundness of mind; for it’s deposited in you. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER 
_Peaceful and Sound Father, I thank You for keeping me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on You. I humbly submit myself under Your Word to guide me walk in soundness of mind. I am making sound decisions. My thoughts are in healthy mood by the power of Your Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen!_
