24/7 DOXA Content, 26th May PATIENCE, A FAITH BOOSTER

LIVING a faith life is not for lazy folks. The Christian faith thrives on gracious diligence. That’s why Jesus isn’t just the author but also the finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2). Thus, we don’t stop on the way or lazy about with faith. Therefore, it’s vital we learn, know and apply the dynamics of faith. We’ve learnt that love is a booster of faith. Yes, any effective faith functions by love. One great principle to add to the faith boosters is patience. It implies endurance, forbearance, perseverance and steadfastness. *This is the virtue which makes you persist without giving up easily.* This virtue births a living hope within you.

Our focal text unveils that aside the faith of the saints of old, they inherited the promises through patience. So faith and patience work together. Yes, your faith will need patience to thrive. Patience will make you immovable. No wonder it’s part of the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22). A faith attitude without patience will miss many great opportunities and favours. So we are admonished that _”…let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:4)._

Cherished one, whatever promises, prophecies, dreams and visions God has birthed through you will manifest as you walk in faith with patience. Don’t rush things. Avoid unhealthy competitions and enjoy with contentment the supply of God. Never, forget that you’ll need patience to enjoy every season and time; With this virtue, your seasons and time will never go waste. Please remember, we’re talking about patience which rests, lives, trust and hopes in the faithfulness of God, not one moved by your sensory perception. Beloved, be enveloped by the spirit of patience to boost your faith life. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Faithful Father, thank You for the revelation that Your unfailing word gives me. I humbly submit to the spirit of patience which works together with my faith to produce results by the power of Your Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen!
