24/7 DOXA Content, 16th May-NO TORMENT AWAITS YOU

GOD’S Word fully establishes the fact that anyone in Christ is highly ranked and has power over all the cohorts of the devil (Luke 10:19). Our opening text also unveils another vital reality to the New Creation that demons are set for torment at a particular time. That’s why they queried the Son of God ” _Have you come here to torment us before our time”? So they adjured Jesus to cast them out. And this is one reason why Jesus commanded believers to cast out demons in His name (not to kill them) (Mark 16:17).

They have an appointed time to be destroyed by God Himself. Just cast them out by faith in Jesus Name and they can never resist. Demons understand authority and they always recognize when the highest authority is around. Jesus knew exactly what He meant when He said “in My Name they will cast out devils” (Mark 16:17)_. The devil is fully aware that one day he and all his entourage will be greatly punished, tortured and destroyed by God (Rev 20:10).

That’s why he keeps on working to get souls on his side to also suffer the same fate. Therefore, come to Jesus now. Those of us already in the vine, let’s live for Him with all our spirits, souls and bodies. It is only in Christ Jesus that you can escape this torture, distress and destruction. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God has raised up many victors over devils, sin and all ungodliness. So be conscious of the fact that you are a Victor in Christ and have power over demons. In Christ alone, you are safe and no torment awaits you, only glory. Keep on walking in Him no matter what comes your way. Grace and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied unto you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for this everlasting victory and power vested in me to overcome anything ungodly. By Your amazing Grace, I refuse to be part of the appointed torment of the ungodly. Continue to help and empower me to live for Your glory in all my ways in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !
