24/7 DOXA Content, 4th June-LOVE TO FULFILL PURPOSE

IT is of great essence to note that a man of purpose needs to walk in the spirit of power, not timidity or cowardice. Apostle Paul admonished a young man of purpose sent on a mission to fulfill God’s agenda and power is inevitable in bringing forth progress. He also unveils to us from our opening text that God has given us the spirit of love. This is very vital to any man on a mission. You don’t just need to walk in power but you must also be guided by the spirit of love. The spirit of love is what will help you cherish, care and value the purpose and people sent to you.

Every child of God must walk with the assurance that God loves him. Never lose the fact that God loves you genuinely and therefore will help you stay on track and fulfill the purpose given you. However, God doesn’t just love you; but has shed His love abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit given you (Romans 5:5). This is to help you love others. The spirit of love is kind and patient (1 Cor 13:4). You’ll need to be kind and patient with others if you’d walk in the spirit of love. You must understand the dynamic of the spirit of love and walk accordingly.

Love has a language and also expresses certain actions (1 Cor 13:4-8). *People will understand your purpose when expressed in the language of love.* This will help you to make glorious progress. Therefore, stir up the gifts of God in you for God hasn’t given you the spirit of fear but of power and love. Let this spirit of love distinguish you from selfish, self-centred people. When you manifest the deeds of the spirit of love in all your endeavours, your progress will be made evident to all. For love is of God and love conquers all. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Lovely Father, thank You for Your love shed in my heart by the Holy Spirit. I humbly submit to walking in the spirit of love towards You and my brethren. By Your love I am fulfilling my purpose in Jesus Name. Amen!_
