WE LIVE in what I call “a learning world”. Because learning distinguishes the wise from the unwise. Proverbs 1:5 states clearly that “the wise will hear and increase learning”. The New Creation in CHRIST is not exempted from this attitude of learning. Knowledge empowers; it brings you before great people. It brings deliverance (Pro 11:9). But how will you learn if you are not first taught.

One disciple approached Jesus and told him to teach them HOW TO PRAY as John taught his disciples. This implies that there was an order of prayer; one in the way of John the Baptist, the heathen way and now that of Jesus Christ (Matt 6:7). So a true disciple of Christ should pray the Jesus way. In prayer, the first place to open is not your mouth but your heart (the Father who sees in secret). A pure, sincere and “opened” heart accompanied by an opened mouth works tremendously (James 5:16). God always desires that you operate in a more excellent way.

To learn how to pray effectively, you must study your Bible and learn how Jesus and the Apostles prayed. And rely on the Holy Spirit to enlighten you more concerning prayer. When you read the book of Acts carefully, you will see why they had such tremendous results in their time. Their prayer life was full of power, the word of God and Holy Spirit ( Acts 4). Cherished one, learn how to pray effectively because prayer is a greater spiritual enforcement in any believer’s life.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, Glory be unto Your Name forever for given me such an opportunity to learn from You the best way to pray. I declare I’m praying right by the guidance of the Word and the Spirit. Because the heartfelt prayer of the righteous avails much. I’m receiving answers to my prayers in Jesus’ Name. Amen !
