24/7 DOXA Content, 7th June-JESUS, THE LORD OVER OPPRESSION

Since the great fall of mankind, there has been a lot of mess up on the earth. The things which were not included in the mind of God for mankind came as a result of the disobedience of one man. However, God has brought the solution to every problem or mess up in this world through His Son, Jesus Christ (John 10:10). Whoever has been oppressed by the devil through the power of sin, Jesus came to “fix” them up. In other words, since the first coming of Jesus Christ, things are never the same. Jesus changed the game from worse to best. Therefore it is needful to believe in the only begotten Son of God, who is the express image of the Father.

Our focal text reveals that Jesus came to offer solution by being anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and power. And He went about doing good. So wherever Jesus is, his anointing and power must be seen which would result to goodness. He also went about healing all that were oppressed by the devil. Oppression is not from God. It’s from the devil, the oppressor. To oppress means to use one’s power to exercise harsh control over another, to use one’s power against one or exercise dominion against one.

So whiles Satan was oppressing, Jesus was healing such folks. In other words, Jesus had the power to overturn was the devil was doing. Thus, He served as the Lord over any form of oppression, suppression and depression: sin, sickness, curses, bareness and anything ungodly. Cherished one, now that Jesus lives in your heart, it’s needless to allow any form of oppression in your life. Never allow that in your life because Jesus is the Lord over oppression, sin, sickness, failure, death, curses and all forms of ungodliness. Believe in Him and exercise the power in Him against all forms of oppression. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Father of all liberty, thank You for healing me from all oppression of the devil. I am no more a slave to the dictates of the devil. Jesus is my Lord. And He lords over anything against His life. He is my Lord so I enjoy from the fountain of His Lordship in Jesus Name. Amen!
