24/7 DOXA Content, 26th April-JESUS, OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST

IN the realms of the spirit, there are ranks. And your understanding of these ranks plays a major part in achieving success in your life as a Christian. And the sacred scriptures unveil powerful revelations in the lens of both Old and New Testaments. The New Testament relies on the Old for its relevance. And the Old also relies on the New for its relevance. This order is key to interpreting the Bible. In the Old Testament, the Bible is clearly evident on how God used the priesthood ministry of man. One of the prominent high priests was called Aaron (Exodus 28:1,3,4,41).

His office as a priest was highly respected in his time. However, it should be noted that Aaron is not the high priest of the New Testament Church. There are those who refer to the oil (anointing) that flows through the beard of high priest Aaron as referenced in Psalms 133:1 in their gathering. No! when the saints gather, the anointing present should not be likened to that of Aaron but of Jesus Christ. Jesus said wherever two or three are gathered in His Name, He is there in their midst (Matthew 18:20);

Therefore, as saints, we must always recognize our great High Priest, His presence and priesthood anointing in order to benefit from it.* Aaron was anointed by man (Exodus 28:1). Jesus was anointed by God Himself (Acts 10:38). Aaron is not the head of the Church, he was a steward of the congregation of Israel; Jesus is the head of the Church universally and eternally, forevermore. He is ushered into that priesthood office. YES, we HAVE a great high priest, Jesus Christ our Lord. Cherished one, understand this revelation and walk in it; and you’ll be able to host God’s presence in a glorious capacity to impact lives. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Mighty Father, I thank You for my great high priest, Jesus Christ my Lord. I embrace His priesthood ministry in my life. I give Him all the reverence to enjoy His presence and anointing over my life in Jesus Name. Amen!
