THE world has never remained the same since the birth of Jesus Christ. His birth is not a religious cliché. It really happened. Yes, Divinity encountered humanity. Their false documentaries, philosophies, theories and arguments couldn’t defy it. The news of Jesus Christ breaks their heart in sorrow. The devil has tried hard to manipulate and deceive people about the birth of the Messiah but to no avail. Hallelujah! The power of sin over man “shook” by His birth. The devil trembled because he knew his kingdom is doomed.

The authority delivered to Satan by Adam lost its significance because Jesus’ mission was to stripe off the devil of all that (1John 3:8; Col 2:15). All kings including Herod was never at ease to hear of another king beside himself. The Scribes, Priests and even the Pharisees never treated it as good news. But it was revealed to the shepherds. Glory! And whoever believes in Him shall receive fountain of joy flowing into everlasting life. Beloved, Jesus’ birth will forever be the good news of great joy. How good is this news to you? First, the sins of this world (including your sins) have now got a permanent “antidote”.

No more sacrifices of the blood of bulls and goats. Also, there is no war between man and God, for His birth announced peace (Romans 5:1). Satan loses power over you permanently. Moreso, His birth was the beginning of more abundant life for us (John 10:10). It brought the very life (zoe) of God in anyone who believes in Him (John 3:16). Cherished one, if there is a time to be joyful and experience meaning to life, then it is the good news that the Saviour was born for you and He has become your everlasting joy. Rejoice, fear not, for this is good tidings of great joy. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ. This Good news will forever be a delight to me. My total life has been secured by the birth of the Saviour. I experience peace and more abundant life through the Saviour of the world. For Jesus is my anchor, my song and salvation. I rejoice in this truth forever in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !_
