24/7 DOXA Content, 29th April-THE JESUS EFFECT

THE Book of Acts is such a great piece of revelation for the body of Christ. This book exhibits the life and mighty deeds of those who had first hand-experience of Jesus’ ministry, prophecies, power, miracles, promises and even fulfillments. Apostle Peter unveils that “For we didn’t follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were EYEWITNESSES of his majesty” (2 Peter 1:16). These eyewitnesses were the tangible proofs of Jesus’ ministry and lifestyle on earth.

Our focal text explains how they spoke with boldness even though the Jews thought they had no formal education in the Rabbinic schools. However, they later realised they had been with Jesus Christ. So beloved, being with Jesus lives certain glorious effects on your life.Their boldness in rightly dividing the word of truth and fearlessly preaching Christ showed they had been with Jesus. Boldness here involves free and fearless confidence, cheerful courage and assurance; this kind wasn’t normal, but one empowered by the Holy Spirit. Because it took another spirit to speak in the midst of Pharisees, high priests and Jews who hated Jesus Christ to the core.

When you are with Jesus something great will definitely happen to your life. So as you journey with Christ, make a conscious effort to experience His glorious effects of power, boldness, knowledge, holiness, wisdom, excellence and glory in your life. Allow the word of Christ to dwell in you richly in all wisdom and understanding. So that He can live His life through you. Allow yourself to be taught, trained and disciplined as a true disciple of Christ to enjoy the Jesus effect. Being a disciple of Christ should ignite in you the boldness and confidence to face life, challenges and still come out successful. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER
Glorious Father, I thank You for the revelation that Your power, nature and lifestyle can be replicated in me. I am ambassador of Your Kingdom, so I receive much grace to exhibit the life of boldness and fearless confidence. I am living as one who experiences the Jesus effect by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen!
