24/7 DOXA Content, 23rd March-FEAR, AN UNGOD-LIKE OFFER

OUR opening text is such a powerful revelation to the body of Christ. The Spirit through Apostle Paul unveils a mystery that has kept many souls in bondage, sicknesses, sin, failure, curses and death. And this powerful truth is that God has not given you the spirit of fear. Hallelujah! This revelation teaches us that there are many things that God doesn’t give to His children. Jesus affirms this truth in His teachings that the good Father gives good gifts to His children.

Fear as used in our opening text also means timidity or cowardice. Timidity and cowardice results from faithlessness. This kind of fear does not resemble God. This spirit of fear makes you give up on your God-given assignment, goal, heart desires and dreams. This fear takes out the best in you. It makes you see only your weaknesses. It makes you lose sight of your abilities and strengths. It makes you focus on what your critics will say than what God’s word says. It paints a bitter, impossible and unhappy picture about your present, future and entire life.

Cherished one, be wary of the fear of the future, the known and the unknown. Work on building up your faith; refuse to submit to the spirit of fear. For fear has torment and can destroy your life. Job says “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me” (Job 3:25). What you always fear easily comes on you because fear makes every environment conducive for the devil. The spirit of fear is an ungod-like offer. It’s not part of God’s nature. Don’t entertain it.  Rebuke and cast that spirit whenever it tries to intimidate you. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

Glorious Father, I thank You for given me a glorious life full of power, faith, love and sound mind. I walk in Your power to face life in Your victory given me in Jesus Name Amen!
