THE CHOICE OF SUCCESS

8.■For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”-|NKJV|

Joshua chapter one, the eighth verse has been our focused text for four consecutive days now. I believe it’s one of the authoritative texts in the Bible. The first verse of the same chapter unveils to us the Speaker and it says “the LORD SAID to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant”. So this is a direct heavenly inspiration from Papa God to Joshua. Here, God reveals to us HIS formula for good success or prosperity. He makes us understand that good success is His ultimate plan for His children; and that He is not against the success of His children, but rather delights in it (Psalm 35:27).

Our focused text demands that speaking, meditating and observing to do according to God’s word precede success. Let’s consider our main text again _”This Book of the Law shall not depart from YOUR mouth, but YOU shall meditate in it day and night, that YOU may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then YOU will make YOUR way prosperous, and then YOU will have good success.”_ Beloved, God was speaking here, but we see Him placing much emphasis and responsibility on JOSHUA ( count the number of YOUs and YOURs).

*So get it, this is life’s reality: God is a responsible God and He trains His children to be same.* He is never out of the equation of your life, but He will help and guide you to “balance” life’s equations. Let’s learn to walk in much humility and submit to His word, for there’s no other way to enjoy good success aside God’s way. God assures us that we can MAKE our way PROSPEROUS and enjoy good success in all areas of our lives. But note, never desire and pursue success outside God’s formula. *Knowing these principles, success therefore becomes your CHOICE, not only God’s choice. So stop blaming God and get His word to work for you.* The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

PRAYER

Gracious Father, thank You for unveiling to me the mysteries surrounding success. I dedicate and commit my heart, mind and mouth to speaking, meditating and observing to do according to Your infallible word for successful results. I am walking in good success in all areas of my life in Jesus Name. Amen!_
