»»12.¶So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets. -|AMP|««||
JESUS initiated a spiritual law that whatever good you want others to do to or for you, do the same to them. For instance, if you want others to give you gifts, be prepared to also lavish gifts on others out of love. Moreover, the opposite of Jesus’ statement also holds true. Thus, whatever you don’t want others to do to you, don’t do to them. For instance, if you don’t want anyone to backbite, insult, gossip, or blackmail you, then you also refrain from doing same. As New Creation, we are to celebrate the successes of other brethren; respect WHO they are, WHAT they do and stand for.
If your brethren is at a higher level than you or even same, don’t find ways to criticize him; find the means to celebrate and learn from him. Speaking evil about someone affects you whether the person hears of it or not. For Ecclesiastes 10:20 says “Curse not the king, no, not in your thought; and curse not the rich in your bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which has wings shall tell the matter”._Some have a great sense of resentment for people of high authority and usually feel hostile towards the wealthy, rather than appreciating and learning from them.
Nevertheless, no amount of hostility can make them poor or bring them down. Work on renewing your thinking (mind) whenever you are tempted to think like that. Beloved, remember that you only attract what you respect and celebrate in life. So If you refuse to respect wealthy or rich people or anyone higher than you, then you can’t afford to reach higher levels. Friend, celebrating others is a way of showing them love.* It is an act of humility which attracts God’s blessings. Celebrate others and their successes and you won’t lack people to celebrate you. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Dear Father, thank You for showing me how to love by appreciating and celebrating the good people and things that come my way. I position myself to do to others as I would love them do for me. I receive more grace to celebrate others out of love. As I plant these seeds, I’ll receive great harvest of the same in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Enjoy A Fruitful Monday
