BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. We learned yesterday that Jesus, our great high priest is touched with the feelings of our infirmities; and He offers the solutions to all weaknesses in Himself. Our focal text continues by unveiling to us what Jesus faced as a man on earth. He was tempted at all points as we are. Thus, since Jesus came in the flesh He wasn’t exempted from temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13).

So Jesus was tempted at all points. You can imagine every kind of temptations (spiritually, physically, financially, sexually, mentally, materially, relationally etc). He was tempted by the devil, Pharisees, high priest, scribes and Sadducees at all points. His integrity was tempted. His power was tempted. Many questioned His deity and association with Papa God. In all these temptations, the Scriptures prove that He was without sin. In other words, He did not fall prey to any of the temptations.

Yes, He did not fall a victim to the evil schemes and strategies of the devil and wicked men. Beloved, Jesus conquered temptations to show us that it is possible to overcome temptations in this life. Jesus told the disciples to watch and pray to avoid falling into temptations. Watching and praying inspired by the power of the Holy Spirit strengthens you to overcome all temptations. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

I DECLARE
Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your Indwelling and abiding Holy Spirit upon my life. I receive greater empowerment to watch and pray in order to overcome the temptations of this life. Because You overcame, I also overcome in Your Name. Amen!
