AS Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto the Lord, “Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”
The officer fell down trembling before Paul and Silas upon seeing such a marvelous miracle. He searched within himself and thought that only the Saved could experience such a miracle. So he asked “sirs what must I do to be saved”. This is the most important question everyone should ask on earth. Many have asked and received the answer but many are yet to ask. *Have you asked this vital question? If not? Ask now!*
They replied _“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household”._ This is all that he needed to do to be saved “BELIEVE”. Yes, believe in JESUS CHRIST alone. It’s not about your works; it’s about His Person and works done for you. And your belief in Him gives you access to enjoy His works. _There is nothing you can do for yourself to be saved except to BELIEVE in Jesus Christ._ *Cherished one, the greatest danger or mistake is to live a life that hasn’t encountered Jesus as Lord and Saviour.* Believe in Jesus now to enjoy the great salvation. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Dear Father, I thank You for Your glorious redemption plan for me. I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I believe He died and rose again from the dead. I openly confess Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. I have Jesus and will live for Him alone. Hallelujah!_
