THE account on creation from the Book of Genesis reveals the original mindset of God towards mankind. And that’s, God created mankind after His own image and likeness. Yes, Papa God in His own wisdom deliberately chose to create you in nobody’s image and likeness except Himself. That’s why you are not an animal. Your resemblance isn’t to any created thing. Your resemblance and functionality can only be traced to God. This revelation should shape your mindset about who you are as a human. You are God’s highest creation. You are not inferior. You carry the intelligence of God.
For instance, God allowed Adam to give names to the animals He created (Gen 2:20). God told man to have dominion over all the things He has created. This unveils the intelligence God put in mankind. God didn’t create you like a robot. He didn’t make a clone. You did not just burst from an ape. No ! The wisdom that surrounds the world far exceeds that of an animal. Refuse their false, fancy and imaginative theories. Apes are still in the forest. Mankind has used the intelligence, creativity and innovative mind God gave him to build houses, designed cars, phones, planes and have almost conquered the natural environment. Science and technology through various discoveries help unleash the great intelligence hidden in mankind.
Beloved, you are God’s highest creation. God is so mindful of you. God pays so much attention to you (Psalm 8:4 ). If God could create the whole earth and the fullness (the laws, principles, creatures, systems, sun, moon, stars etc.) thereof for mankind to be the ruler of them, then you are God’s highest creation. Never compare yourself or accept any scientific discovery that demeans your divine nature, make-up wisdom and intelligence. Renew your thinking with what God’s word says about you today and transform your world for the best. For you are made in God’s OWN IMAGE and LIKENESS. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Precious, Creative, Wise Father Who lives in me. I thank You for creating me after Your image and likeness. I therefore walk in Your resemblance and functionality. I rise up and walk in the creative mentality, wisdom and intelligence to effect glorious transformation in my environment in Jesus Mighty Name!_
