ONE of the most powerful, energetic and beneficial force given to the Believer is the word of God. Yes, the living words authored by His living Spirit. Our focal text unveils a powerful truth on how the word can bring results to your life. And that happens when you allow the words of God to ENTER into you. He didn’t say the reading of the word or reciting but the ENTRANCE. The word “entrance” connotes a disclosure, opening or doorway.
In other words, God’s words are a doorway through which light shines. At this level, a person has accepted to live by the words of God at all cost. You can read the Bible and not believe it. You can even speak it and not give it entrance in your heart. Entrance is when God’s words have entered the core of your heart and is being allowed to permeate your soul (mind) to your body. And that entrance of God’s word gives LIGHT. Light represents enlightenment and illumination. Light fights ignorance, darkness and gloominess in your spirit and liberates your mind from bondage.
If you don’t have enlightenment after encountering the word, then it means you didn’t allow it to enter you. Yes, the word is a seed, it cannot enter and not bear fruits. Light brings visibility and clarity. Any area of life that seems infertile and darkened demands the light of God’s word. Receive God’s word in that area and allow the revelation of it to enter into you. Take action on the word as your final authority; Make it part and parcel of your life and you’ll walk in success all the days of your life. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank You for the results that Your Word brings to me. I avail my heart to receive Your Words. I choose to allow Your words free entrance into me to cause revelation, enlightenment and illumination. I refuse to walk in ignorance and darkness. Because the light of Your words makes me shine in Your glory in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
