BLISSFUL greetings, Cherished one. The word “grow” in our focal text is from the Greek word “auxanō” which means to increase or become greater. When we are admonished to grow in  grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, then it means there are higher dimensions thereof. *It is only growing up that launches us into enjoying greater dimensions of whatever God gives.* Grow up in love by intentionally loving others.

*Don’t walk in love as only emotions or feelings, because emotions vanish with time; walk in love as a command and a decision inspired by the love of God in you.* You grow in love by expressing its nature (kindness, patience, long-suffering etc) to others. Yes, keeping on loving even when people hurt or offend you; it is then that you will see you are truly loving and growing up in it. If you always pay people in their own coin, then you are not growing in love but in revenge.

Many Christians feel comfortable in revenge, anger and bitterness than choosing to grow up in love. God knows every virtue or attitude will be tested and tempted by people end situations; that’s why growing up is very necessary. When these tempt you, your growth level will determine whether you will fall for it or overcome it. Proverbs 24:10says “If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.” Beloved, be intentional about practicing loving others. For that’s how you grow up in it. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
My ever-loving Daddy, I thank You for showing me the way of growing up in love. I thank You for the strength to express the nature of love to others even when it’s not convenient. I triumph and grow up in love even as You empower me in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
