BLISSFUL greetings, Cherished one. The Disciples’ encounter with Jesus Christ brought great relevance in their lives. They learned from the Master and were later assigned to fulfill the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). However, before we experienced the relevance of the disciples, Jesus had told them of the Holy Spirit, the “another Comforter” (John 14:16). Our focal text unveils Jesus’ own words about the expediency of His departure.
Why would Jesus’ earthly departure be advantageous to the disciples? Because He said if He didn’t go, the Comforter would not come to them. Truly, He left and sent forth the Holy Spirit to reside in you. Therefore, the Holy Spirit in you is the greatest advantage you have in this life. The Holy Spirit is one who testifies the reality of Jesus Christ unto believers. Also, Jesus in the flesh who was their comforter at that time was limited by distance and location, but the Spirit of Christ is not limited by time, distance or location.
Now, He is in you to lead you into a deeper knowledge of the person of Christ, the gospel truth, and give you divine strength needed to accomplish divine tasks. Henceforth, you must depend on the expediency of the Holy Spirit in you. The Comforter is your helper and assistance in this Christian life. With the Holy Spirit, you have no losses but benefits or profits unlimited. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen!

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I take advantage of the benefits that the Sweet Holy Spirit brings into my life. I humbly submit to His ministry of guidance, teaching, revelation, truth and leadership in every aspect of my life. I live my life in glorious benefits by the influence of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
