GLORIOUS greetings, Cherished one. Aside impatience, fear and doubt, other opposition and challenges that serve as distractions from God’s will may come through the voices of the devil and carnal people. Carnal people are those who do not have divine or spiritual revelation and understanding of God’s will for your life. Many are easily distracted by looking outside and heeding to voices that contradict God’s. Adam and Eve were distracted by lies and deceptive voice from the devil because they didn’t keep holding onto the voice of God they heard (Genesis 3:1,2).

Samson was distracted from God’s will by heeding to a different voice, Delilah, aside God’s voice (Judges 16:15-18). God’s voice defines and refines your assignment. The voice of carnal people distract you from your assignment. However, in the case of Jesus Christ since He knew and prioritise God’s will for His life, He rebuked the contrary voice of Peter in Matthew 16:21-23: [22]Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” [23]But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”_

To distract means “To divert the attention of.” Beloved, many situations, voices and challenges will try to divert your attention from God’s will to be done in your life; *but you must stand on your ground by faith, and be focused to fulfill His will. Rebuke any contrary voices and embrace God’s will in totality for your life your life.* The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen !

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for Your continuous admonition from You well of wisdom. I prioritize Your voice concerning Your will for my life. I rebuke any form of distractions and stay focused for Your will to be done in my life in the Blessed Name of Jehoshuah, the Christ. Amen!
