Romans 15 vs _4》》” For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”》》NKJV》_________________________________________¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤■■■■■¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

Our focal text unveils that as we spend quality time to learn from the sacred scriptures, we encounter some godly virtues such as patience and comfort. The scriptures carry such ability that inspire patience in you. _The Greek word used for patience implies cheerful endurance, steadfastness, constancy or waiting._ The Spirit behind the scriptures will inspire these virtues in you as you learn from different characters who endured in life unto success.

For instance, in the Old Testament, there are several examples of people who walked with God even in times of difficulties but never gave up on God till they received their promised. A good case study is Noah. Noah found favour with God (Gen 6:8). God gave him a vision and warning for his generation to depart from evil and join him in the prepared Ark because God would destroy the earth with the flood. But they never paid heed to Noah’s message. *Through faith and endurance, Noah trusted in the voice He heard and saved himself and the family from destruction* (Heb 11:7).

Also, God promised Abraham a covenant child which tarried for years, but as several years passed by, her wife Sarah gave birth to Isaac who became the rightful heir. Cherished one, there are several examples of people who endured challenges and came out successful. No matter what you’re going through now, put all your hope, faith and trust in God and His Word and you will see His glory manifesting in your life. Giving up should never be one of your options. LEARN to walk in patience, endurance and constantly wait on the Lord in His Word. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER_Glorious Father, I thank You for the ability of Your word to inspire patience, steadfastness and endurance in me. I put all my hope, faith and trust in You and Your holy scriptures. I refuse to give in or give up, no matter the challenges and difficulties. I graciously press on in endurance to enjoy the higher life in Christ in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!_
