ONE of the reasons God created man was for His pleasure (Rev 4:11). And He achieved this by establishing a healthy relationship with man. Your relationship with God and mankind determine how successful you’re living on this earth. From the holy scriptures, people who had healthy relationship with God experienced much victory in life. Well, just as a bad company corrupts good morals, so a good company also transform lives (Proverbs 13:20).
The honour and benefits in good relationships can never be taken for granted. For instance, when Jesus came into Peter’s life (a common fisherman); he became a great Apostle (Mt 4:19; I Pet 1:1). Paul, a defender of the law became ardent preacher, teacher and Apostle of the gospel of Christ (Romans 1:16; 1Cor 9:16). Mary Magdalene (a woman possessed by seven demons) who encountered Jesus, was delivered and became a sponsor to His ministry (Luk 8:2,3). *What impact is your relationship having on you ?*
Beloved, if a relationship leaves you better than you were, then you’re truly in a good company. However, if it leaves you worse than you ever were previously, then you need a “spiritual checkup”. *Relationships are avenues for sharing love, communication, and conquering weakness, enjoying the strengths and uniqueness*. Thus, it’s a “tool” designed to bring out the best in you. There is power in healthy relationships to effect a positive change in peoples lives. *Use this power to your advantage and refuse the communication of bad companions in order to maintain your good manners*. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Dear Father, You have been my light, salvation and direction so I will never lose my way. Because You are the best company for me, I receive guidance from Your Spirit to walk with good companies. Keep walking me into relationships that are designed for my total upliftment in Jesus’ Name. Amen!_
