THE ALMIGHTY God, the Creator of heavens and earth is the first and best writer of all times. He inspired His chosen and anointed men to write the holy Bible (the scriptures). He understands the power of written messages. Though He speaks, He made sure all essential matters were documented in written form. He did this by inspiring His chosen men to write. *Despite the cultural and historical setting of the books of the Bible there is still a spiritual setting which hails from the most high God Himself.*
And as the best writer, He always wrote for a purpose. And those original thoughts when read should be maintained and not changed by any man or spirit. Therefore, the Apostle through the revelation of the Spirit tells us why the scriptures were written. First, it was written for our learning. _Learning here in the Greek is translated “instructions or teachings”._ Instruction is the best hallmark for the wise. *Thus, the word that we have now in written form is code for instructing and teaching us the mind and ways of God.*
And the writings are called the inspiration of God (2 Tim 3:16). Therefore as you spend quality time with the written word of God, you are engaged with the Maker’s inspiration. *You encounter a divine intercourse whereby your spirit, soul and body are supernaturally influenced to think, talk and act like God.* Beloved, you can’t genuinely spend quality time with the holy scriptures and not be transformed genuinely. Spend time to learn it to spice up your life for glorious advancement. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
_Precious Father, I thank You for having in mind glorious plans for me through the holy scriptured. As a graciously spend quality with it, I receive much ability to learn all that pertains to life and godliness for glorious success in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen !_
