GRACIOUS greetings Cherished one. One remarkable virtue that made Acts of the Apostles stand out was their obedience to the words of Christ. Jesus told them to go and wait till they were endured with power. Luke 24:49 says “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” Jesus said to this confirm what was revealed to the Prophet in Isaiah 44:3 _For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring._
Their waiting was so vital because they were the pioneers who would receive the full indwelling and abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. As you walk in the obedience of the words of Christ and live as a doer of His word, you will experience the manifestation of what He says. In their time, they were to wait for the promise of the Father, who is the Holy Spirit. In our time, the Holy Spirit has been sent already, so whoever believes in Jesus Christ has the Spirit in Him.
However, your continuous fellowship and walk with the Spirit will empower, nurture, train, strengthen and enlighten you for the work of the ministry. So yearn and learn to fellowship with the Spirit in prayer, the study of God’s word and guidance. Beloved, we can only continue the Acts mandate with the power of the Holy Spirit in us and upon us, not by logic. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit to help empower and strengthen me for the work of the ministry. I receive increased grace to walk in obedience and act in sweet fellowship with Your Spirit for greater works in the Kingdom business in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!
