THE fear of the known and the unknown has caused many to fail. This happened to the disciples of Jesus Christ. With their boat on the sea and violent winds blowing, they became afraid. During this time, Jesus wasn’t with them in the boat; so they saw someone walking on the sea which they didn’t know it was Jesus Christ. So as Jesus walked on the sea to approach them, they became afraid and terrified. But Jesus who knew their present experience told them to STOP BEING afraid because it was Him. Jesus had the right to tell them that because He had shown them enough miracles, signs and wonders as the true Messiah.

When Jesus told them to stop being frightened, He wasn’t just revealing to them His human personality but His Deity over the natural, spiritual and all situations. When Jesus says “it is I”. He means “I am the I AM’, who makes all things possible. He is the one the Father has sealed and sent to be the preeminence in all things. It also means He is the alpha and omega, who knows the end from the beginning. And your future is a history before Him.

Therefore knowing that Jesus is alive for you; intercedes for you and serve as your mediator, then He can boldly tell you to STOP BEING FRIGHTENED. In other words, stop fear from gaining control over your life. Stop fear else fear will stop you from achieving your goals. Are you afraid to marry? Are you afraid to start your own business? Are you afraid that you won’t make it in this life even though you are born again? Stop fear before it stops you. Keep staying with Jesus and fellowship with His Spirit. With Him, the spirit of boldness and fearless confidence will take over your life to do exploits. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

I DECLARE
I refuse to allow fear ruin my destiny. I refuse to give up or give in this life. I receive the EMPOWERMENT of the Spirit to face and conquer any fear that’ll come my way of progress. I have the presence of Jesus and His Spirit ignites in me the boldness and confidence in life. I am making it by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name ! Amen !
