FOCAL TEXT: John 8 vs 36
►► “If the Son, therefore, shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”~》KJV》
BLESSED greetings, Cherished one. Everybody loves freedom. No one loves to be in bondage to anything or anyone. Nations under bondage seek for freedom and independence. History has made it clear that slaves always cry for freedom. *And Jesus is the true source of absolute freedom.* To be free presupposes that there had been a certain form of entanglement, bondage and slavery.
The Jews were bound under the laws of the Pharisees and traditions of the elders which were difficult to obey. Jesus saw their ungodly behaviour and said to them “…Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever “(John 8:34 35 ). Therefore, there was a need for them to allow Jesus to make them free from the power of sin. Freedom implies being liberated from any form of ungodly oppression and suppression.
Beloved, Jesus came to save the world from sin (Matthew 1:21/John 1:29); Thus, to overthrow the power and dominion of Satan, sin and its effects on humanity. If Jesus makes you FREE, then you are certainly and unquestionably free. Jesus does not give partial freedom, but complete freedom. Have you believed in Jesus Christ? then you are free indeed. Live in the freedom Christ gave you in peace and unspeakable joy. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
I thank You Father for the freedom in Your begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I boldly declare that I am free indeed from the dominion of Satan, sin, death and ungodliness. I am alive to Your Living Word and enlightened by Your Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
Pray for continuous enlightenment to walk in the freedom Christ gave you.
