Religion has taught mankind that God is a punisher and doesn’t love them. And He is waiting for you to mess up so He strikes you with His big rod. Imbalanced teaching has succeeded in making people afraid of God in the negative way. Beloved, aside the spirit of power, the spirit of love is another weapon to overcome the spirit of fear. Yes, love always conquers fear. Whiles fear has torment and destroys, love lifts up, builds up and establishes. God has given you the attitude or character of love. Therefore as a New Creation, you can walk in love.
In Galatians 5: 22, love is seen as one of the fruits of the recreated human spirit. The spirit of fear says God hates you and can never accept you because you a sinner. But the spirit of loves says Christ demonstrates His LOVE towards the sinner and died for him (Romans 5:8).The spirit of fear says if you mess up, the Holy Spirit will run away, the spirit of love says the Holy Spirit will HELP you and strengthen you in times of weakness (Romas 8:26).
Cherished one, the spirit of love is stronger than spirit of fear.Perfect love of Christ now resident in you casts away fear (I John 4:18). In other words, when you come to the reality that God loves you, you will love and serve Him well than being threatened by fear to run away from Him. Wherever fear abounds, love cannot thrive and wherever there is real love, fear can never reign. Never allow the spirit of fear to take you away from the spirit of love in Christ Jesus.The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
My loving Father of everlasting love, I thank You for loving me and saving me from the power and dominion of sin. I am free to serve You forever. I use the weapon of Your love to dominate the spirit of fear. Because Your love I triumph gloriously in every aspect of your life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen !
