BLISSFUL greetings Cherished one. We learned yesterday that assumption was one of the reasons the jailer contemplated suicidal thoughts. Many have allowed the challenges they go through to form wrong assumptions for their life. Some assume they might not prosper because of a bad economy and family background; some assume they might not make it in life due to reasons best known to them. Don’t build your life on wrong assumptions or situations around you.

Build your life by the principles of God’s word because His word is living, powerful, sure and able to deliver results works. It will create a glorious environment around you for a thriving success. Another reason that triggered suicidal thought in him was the thought of failure. Every jailor was made responsible for his prisoner, under the same penalty to which the prisoner himself was exposed so failing to keep them secured was a big matter. The jailor had failed to meet the standard set by an institution. Many cannot even stand failure in their pursuit of a certain goal. But as a Christian, your faith given you is to help you stand any contrary wind including failure.

The fact that you failed at a job interview, exams, a relationship, or fulfilling a special task doesn’t mean you have to take your life. Failure is not final, don’t let it dictate the course of your life. Many have failed in one way or other before. You are not the first time. If you failed in pursuing a good course once or twice, there is more space for you to learn and rise back and fight forward. Taking your life is the worst failure. It is not worth it. It will not give you another chance to try again. Conquer suicidal thoughts. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always. Amen!

PRAYER

I am born of God. I am born of His power and love. I cannot fail and I refuse to fail for I am a champion and more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me and gave Himself for me. My life is set on a progressive course. And I conquer any contrary wind of failure and suicidal thoughts in Jesus Blessed Name. Amen!
