ROMANS 5:8 says _”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”_ *God is love and He recreates His children in love. His love is a demonstrated love;* He loved you and proved it as stated in 1 John 4:10 _”This is the kind of love we are talking about – not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.”
God has done so many things to win our love even though we didn’t love Him at first. It is therefore expedient you love Him. By so doing, you will catch the revelation of His love and why He loves you, then you’ll also extend love to one another. Hatred isn’t found in God against His children. *Therefore loving the brethren is the sure way to practice God’s love.* The scriptures unveils how love behaves (that’s the values which reflect loving one another 1 Cor 13).
Love has a character. Love has an attitude. Love has a language and expresses itself in action. Love speaks according to its nature or character. His love is shed abroad in your heart so that you can spread it to others. Until love is found in you, you can’t express it to others. Cherished one, if God so loved us, we must so love one another as commanded. *As a disciple of Christ, you have the godly discipline to love God and people.* Note that love is the greatest way to win. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
_The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Like a spring of living water, His love burst forth from within me. Even when it’s challenging, I’ll still choose to love God and people. By so doing I am turning many to the kingdom of God in Jesus Name. Amen_
