FLOURISH greetings, Cherished one. It is of utmost importance to know, understand and live the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. *As an intelligent Christian, none should question your faith in Christ and find you wanton. Know the basics but simple powerful eternal truths that make your salvation unshakable as one built on the living Rock, Jesus.* You mostly come across the statement “believe in Jesus Christ”.

However, it matters what you believe Jesus Christ to be; because some believe in Him as the greatest prophet, messenger of God, highest angel, great teacher. None of these qualifies your salvation or eternal life; Jesus is more than every human description. He meets the Father’s authentic definition as the Begotten Son. The Father called Him “My Beloved Son” (Matthew 3:16). Satan tempted Jesus based on His Sonship (Matthew 4:3,6); Even demons confessed the Sonship of Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:29).

The centurion who testified of His crucifixion and death affirmed Him as the Son of God (Matthew 27:54). In our focal text, Jesus Himself asked the man, “Do you believe in the Son of God ? Therefore believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of the living God is the genuine way to be saved or receive eternal life* (John 3:16). Any other means leads to fruitless results. To have an unwavering salvation, believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God, not otherwise. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Father of all truth, I thank You for given me Jesus Christ. Undoubtedly, I believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God sent to be my Lord and Saviour forevermore. My hope, faith and trust are firmly anchored on this truth in Jesus Name. Amen !
