YOUR mindset has a greater part to play in the success of your life.* A poor mindset will lead to a poor life. This is because _”As he thinks in his heart so is he” (Prov 23:7)._ You can’t think greatness and become little. If you think inferior, you will see and act inferior. If you think arrogantly, you will act the same way. As a New Creation, one area that needs a careful and determined action is your mind. Your thought pattern will affect your ministry, marriage, words, finances, health and your Christian life.
Many Christians are already saved but not thinking right. This is an error. For instance, a Christian who cannot choose to sing the right songs hasn’t renewed his mind yet. Therefore it’s vital to walk with a discerning mind. _A discerning mind is one which is engaged in constant mind renewal according to the will and purpose of God._ Your life goes the direction of your thinking. Moreover, whether you think right or wrong can also be seen in the questions you ask.
There are folks who always ask “what if I don’t succeed? What if I don’t make it? What if it doesn’t work as I plan? Well, sometimes, It may not always be wrong to ask those questions but it is more HELPFUL and godly to ask in the positive form such as what if I succeed? What if I get the job? What if I am able to do it? What if I win the prize? *By so doing, you are training your mind to think and align with the will and purpose of God.* As a discerning mind, choose to engage in discerning thinking. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
I DECLARE
I refuse to conform to the thinking pattern of this world. I choose to graciously transform my mind by thinking according to the will and purpose of God. All things are working together for my good. The lines are falling unto me in pleasant places in Jesus Mighty Name. Hallelujah!
