SHALOM greetings, Cherished one. During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He was tempted by the devil and Matthew’s gospel shows us how he conquered him. No one in the Holy Scriptures shows us how to deal with the devil and life’s challenges better than Jesus Christ. No wonder He said we should learn from Him (Matthew 11:29). He is the best Subject of learning if you want to enjoy a victorious life.

This is very vital because Jesus knew what to do in every situation. In this life, if you don’t know what to do in every situation, you will find yourself frustrated and even confused; But Jesus shows us what to do when life battles enrage before us. Our focal text is the answer He gave to the tempter, the devil, when he wanted Jesus to meet his conditions. Jesus unveils a powerful truth as a weapon by taking an Old Testament scripture in Deuteronomy 8:3.

Here, Jesus was not just quoting the texts but He had come to believe and know the truth for Himself that He could use it as a weapon in challenging situations. He personalized the word of God as “Rhema.” Hallelujah! Jesus used this scripture with a spiritual understanding and revelation not just by mental knowledge. Beloved, you need to believe, know and understand God’s word and personalize it as “rhema” for glorious results. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.
