IT IS always comforting and refreshing to feed on the words of Jesus Christ because He is faithful and lives forever. And He only has the words that resonate to eternal life (John 6:68). Jesus said all things shall pass away except His words. Therefore it is expedient to rely on His words for relevance in this life. According to John chapter 15, Jesus unveiled a remarkable revelation concerning Him and His Disciples. He places Himself as the VINE and the disciples as the branches. He is the true vine and whoever believes in Him becomes a branch.
Jesus’ statement in our focal text reveals some vital truths of life. *First, whoever embraces Jesus enjoys the same life that flows through Him.* Whatever good thing flows in Christ should manifest in you. Two, any believer who stays connected or remain in Christ, Christ will also abide in Him. Beloved, remain and stay connected to Jesus. Refuse to let anything or anyone draw you away from Him because we are in the end times full of deception. Three, as you stay connected to Christ, you become relevant and draw your relevance and fruitfulness from Him.
You can’t be connected to the Son of God and not be relevant in life. You can’t do that and remain useless and unproductive. You become a vessel of honour to your generations. Finally, Jesus unveils that we should absolutely depend on Him because without Him we can do nothing. Without Him, you are nothing. Yes, without Him, you have nothing meaningful. But with Him, you have all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Remain in Christ and His words; Stay connected to Him for absolute relevance. Depend absolutely on Him no matter the prevailing challenges.The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
PRAYER
Dear Lord, I have nowhere to go. I have nowhere to be than in your presence. In You I live, move and have my being. You are my meaning to life. You are my relevance, my all in all. I thank You for given me the ability to always abide in You and apply your words unto fruitfulness. Amen. !
