24/7 DOXA Content, 28th August-FOOD WHICH ENDURES TO ETERNAL LIFE

BLISSFUL greetings, Cherished one. The earthly ministry of Jesus Christ was marked by multitude thronging to Him. He observed a certain attitude about this particular followers that they only sought for Him because He fed them with bread through a miracle. This did not go down well with Jesus and He confronted their behaviour and told them to seek for food that lasts to eternal life, not the food that perishes. Though Jesus understands the proper place of meeting physical needs, He is talking about priority here, putting first things first.
He is unveiling to us the MAJOR driving force to seek Jesus should not only be for physical or earthly or material needs but rather things edifying unto eternal life. Beloved, materialism is not the ultimate reason to follow Jesus. Enjoying the abundant life to the fullest is the best reason to follow Jesus. So Jesus clearly expressed that _“if you will seek for me, let it be MORE of the things that concern eternal life (the God kind of life) or divine life”._ Thus, the life of God that I have brought to mankind” (John 10:10).
This is the life God desires to give everyone who comes to Him through Christ Jesus. You can be going to church and still not having the life of God in you. And you must seek for this life. To seek anything from Jesus without first seeking for eternal life is a waste of time and resources. Eternal life is the only ultimate means to enjoy the blessed life in Christ. This life is only found in Jesus Christ, the “Food” or Bread that lasts unto eternal life. And know that this life is a package. The rich grace of our Lord Jesus Christ abounds towards you always.

PRAYER
Glorious Father, thank You for the word of Your grace which is always able to build me up and give me inheritance. I seek for the expansion of Your Kingdom and righteousness. Yes, I prioritize the things of the Kingdom. The eternal life You gave me is my eternal focus. I refuse to focus on less important matters. I ask and receive more grace and strength to labour for the food which always last to eternal life in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
